What happened
Michalak saw two red, glowing cigar-shaped objects descend. As they came closer they looked oval and then disc-shaped. One landed. He described it as saucer-shaped, about 40 ft across and 10 ft thick. When he touched it, he said, exhaust through a grid of holes burned his chest. Doctors recorded round and irregular burns. The RCMP, RCAF and Condon Committee investigated. Condon listed it as unexplained but noted that Michalak could not find the site at first and that details of the departure did not fit.
