What happened

Wikipedia's account says one aircrew witness described a brilliantly lit rectangle trailing a string of smaller lights before a silent flash, and that a ship's captain saw four bright objects in a roughly rectangular pattern. Residents later saw lights descend into the water. The RCMP and the Navy searched and found nothing, and Canadian government records label the event a UFO report. Better known as a crash case than a shape case.
