What happened
Corbell released infrared footage of an object with a round body and dangling appendages drifting over the base, switching from black to white (from cooler to hotter) as it moved. He said it then descended into water, stayed under for 17 minutes and came out at high speed; the clips released do not show all of that. Cincoski said personnel called it the "spaghetti monster," not a jellyfish, and that it was the ghost story of the base. A longer 17-minute version was later released.
