What happened
The drone's camera shows a small metallic-looking sphere crossing the frame as the camera slews to follow it. Kirkpatrick showed it at an April 19, 2023 Senate hearing, calling it unresolved and saying it would be virtually impossible to identify from the video alone. He added that it showed no unusual capabilities and resembled other metallic orbs reported in the region. Bellingcat geolocated the footage and argued it was a party balloon about 30 cm across.
