What happened
The operator reported one object moving at about 434 knots (about 500 mph). It was visible only on the short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensor, not in visible light. The mission report describes a round diamond shape with a straight, non-maneuvering "tail" or probe beneath it, flying a steady path with some altitude changes and no response to the aircraft. The 65-second video, DOW-UAP-PR28, opens with SWIR and visible footage side by side. When the operator switches to visible light the target is lost against the background. Released in PURSUE Release 1 on May 8, 2026. AARO's caption pairs it with mission report DoW-UAP-D7; Metabunk users point out the matching report is DOW-UAP-D25.
