What happened

Fetching water from the well, Taylor saw what looked like a flying saucer come over the trees and land in a gully behind the house. He described rainbow-colored exhaust. The family did not believe him until small figures appeared around the house and the men fired guns at them. Hopkinsville Police Chief Greenwell and Deputy Sheriff Batts responded but found no creatures. Only Taylor saw the craft. Joe Nickell has published a skeptical analysis.
