What happened

Voorhis told Popular Mechanics (Tim McMillan, November 2019) that he plotted the radar positions, ran to the bridge with heavily magnified binoculars, and could faintly see the objects hovering in daylight before they darted off and stopped again. He said they gave off a phosphorus-like glow at night. He also says recordings were later collected and he was told to erase data. No document confirms either part.

Witnesses
