What happened

The pilot asked Albuquerque Center whether it had any targets near them, then said something had gone right over the top of them and compared it to a cruise missile. Radio hobbyist Steve Douglass recorded the call. American Airlines confirmed the transmission after debriefing the crew and referred questions to the FBI. The FAA said controllers saw nothing on radar.
