What happened

The two men said that as boys they saw an object fall and found a crashed craft shaped like an avocado, with small beings inside, which the Army later removed. Jacques Vallée and Paola Harris told the story in their 2021 book Trinity. Critics point out that nothing in the record from 1945 supports it and that the accounts have changed over time.

Witnesses

Reme Baca and Jose Padilla, then children, according to their later accounts

Explanation

Unresolved
