What happened

A large silver object shaped like a long pear, with two or three squares beneath it, flew at about 170-210 mph while a smaller delta or swept-back object circled it at 1,150-1,700 mph. The crews saw them for one to four minutes. Four hours later, other F-94 crews reported three stacked cylinders over Altoona (cylinder page, entry 8).
