What happened

Both men watched a small, structured object tumbling slowly on a ballistic path and took three fuzzy photos, which have been widely published after heavy enlargement. NORAD first identified it as the Soviet Proton 3 satellite, but that was later shown to be a different object. UFO lists describe a yellow-orange UFO that dropped in front of them.
