What happened

Drivers by frozen Fox Lake saw long rows of lights cross slowly and silently. Two cousins in separate vehicles stopped and watched the object drift almost overhead. At Pelly Crossing a witness compared its length to the Big Dipper above it. Others saw a dark shape behind the lights blot out stars, and one saw squares of light in formation. Jasek started investigating three years later. Using witness positions, he triangulated six size estimates ranging from about 0.3 to 1.3 miles. He published in the MUFON UFO Journal in February 2000.
