What happened
Sant saw a dark grey object over I-84 that he called "a city of lights." It stopped about 12 m away. He estimated it at just under 40 m long and over 100 m wide, with red, green and white lights and a sweeping amber light. He also described a dark metal surface and an engine-like sound.
